TRiNet International Inc History
TRiNet International’s founder was inspired during his time in college to became an entrepreneur. And with an Electronic System’s Engineer bachelor’s degree from ITESM (Instituto Technology y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) and a passion for technology and computers he established TRiNet Computer Services. With over 25 years of experience and as we move into the future, we see how technology is evolving and we want to be there to help you achieve your dreams.
TRiNet Computer Services
In 1993 TRiNet Computer Services was established as a sole proprietorship.
The name TRiNet comes from the words TRi – Three/Tripod and Net - Networks, inspired by the number of siblings in our founder’s family.
1993TRiNet International, Inc.
In 1997 TRiNet International, Inc. was officially incorporated. A great milestone was reached in the history of our company as we grew past the sole proprietorship and headed into a new and remarkable direction.
1997Avaya Partnership
In 2007 we Partnered with Avaya, one of the most proven and reliable telecommunications company in the world.
2007Focus On The Rio Grande Valley
Initially the company provided professional IT services, cabling and IT hardware primarily to many multinational manufacturing plants (maquiladoras) located just across the border in Mexico and South Texas. When the security situation in Mexico started to deteriorate and traveling to Mexico became dangerous, the company decided to focus more on its customers in the Rio Grande Valley.
2010Transition to MSP
In 2012 we initiated our transition from the traditional brake and fix model to managed IT and a cloud service provider by partnering with world-class cloud services providers.
2012Move to New Office
In 2015 we moved to a larger office to provide better service and expand our office space and capacity, currently it is the home to our corporate offices in McAllen Texas.
2015Datto Partnership
In 2016 we partnered with datto, a rock-solid and secure cloud backup and business continuity solution.
2016KnowBe4 Partnership
In 2023 we partnered with Knowbe4, the world’s largest integrated platform for security awareness training combined with simulated phishing attacks.
